Philanthropic Conference to Focus On Delaware Based Initiatives

The Philanthropy Delaware Conference kicks off Tuesday, September 25th. This event has come to light thanks to Philanthropy Delaware (previously known as Delaware Grantmakers Association.)

This conference will focus on bringing together grantmakers, foundation trustees, government funders, corporate giving programs, community foundations, nonprofit staff, and board members and other philanthropic organizations, partners and community leaders from across the state to learn, share, and participate in critical conversations that will shape the future of our communities.

The conference takes place in The Chase Center on the riverfront. The first half of the day will be limited to grantmakers, foundation trustees, government funders, corporate giving programs, community foundations. There will be breakout sessions, networking opportunities. The morning keynote speaker is Dr. Michael Moody, the nation’s first endowed chair on family philanthropy through the Johnson Center.

The second half of the day is open to anyone and will feature keynote speaker, Sidney Hargro the executive director of Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia and an interactive activity with a focus on inclusive conversations Lead by Hillary Blecker and Susanna Gilbertson from the Blue Door Group.
