Barclays

Our Online Banking business is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Itʼs also home to the U.S. division of Barclaycard, the credit card and payment group of Barclays. Why did we pick Wilmington to call home? When we saw that we had the unique opportunity to renovate an existing historic property in the thriving riverfront area—as well as develop a new site —we jumped at the opportunity. Today, weʼre proud that our campus helps contribute to the communityʼs growth.

A lot of our people come from the immediate area, making it a very clear strategic interest to support a vibrant community.

Why We Lead

Our community service is focused on helping people build life skills. And we do it by mentoring, teaching, and most importantly, caring. We give paid time off to colleagues who want to volunteer in the community. Typically, more than 95% of Barclaycard U.S. colleagues take us up on the offer – logging more than 30,000 volunteer hours each year.
